The fog lifted for to get the day underway, with four drivers emerging as major contenders for the outright win. Stefan Lendvay (Honda CRX) won the first test, Nick Yaxley (FIAT 127) won the second, Josh How (Toyota Corolla) won the third with Stephen Turner (Mitsubishi Mirage) taking out the fourth. The competition was that tight that the four drivers would only be separated by a solitary second with Yaxley winning from Turner and Lendvay. The top fifteen were covered by 21 seconds with Ben Hoare (Toyota 86) and Damien Midgley (Mazda 121) also putting in impressive performanecs.

In the Female Class we had five entries with Sam Guy (Honda Prelude) and Kelli Large (Hyundai Excel) locked in a tight tussle for the day. Kelli would come out the victor, with thanks going to Craig Twining for allowing the Large family to run in his car, as their own Excel was still out of action. Kiana Toon (Hyundai Excel) took out third place for the class, a very impressive effort.

A great turn out was had in the Junior Class with eight junior drivers taking part. Jacob Yost (Holden Commodore) drove consistently all day to obtain the win with Alex von Bertouch (Subaru Impreza) just holding off James Large (Hyundai Excel) for second. Nathan Russell (BMW 318Ti) also drove strongly to finish just off the podium in fourth.

Thank you to all of our competitors and officials who braved the cold conditions. We hope to see you all back for round four in October with much warmer weather!
